Challenge entries:
Congratulations to Jean from O'Susannah's Quilts in NY for the 1st challenge entry!!!

Jean used Kwik Sew pattern 3772 to make the apron and casserole carrier. She used Moda fabric that said A is for Apples, B is for Birds and C is for cupcakes. She baked a large cupcake as a treat for her guild meeting! (We wish Jean was in our guild, we love cupcakes!)
Our first entry in the JACKET Category:

Brenda from The Cutting Edge in Weston, WI is our first entry in the jacket category of the challenge. Brenda used Kwik Sew pattern 3585 view B. She used a burgundy print fabric with a light blue print for the lining and accent panels. GOOD JOB Brenda!

Mary Ann from The Sewing Basket, Plymouth, WI made Kwik Sew 2829, view A for the challenge. The fabric is bamboo with a green lining and gold highlights. Pretty fabric choice Mary Ann.

Phyllis from O'Susannah's Quilts in Watkins Glen, NY made this her version of Kwik Sew 2829. She embroidered around the edges. Nice finishing technique!

Debbie from The Cutting Edge, Weston, WI made Kwik Sew #3612 from Moda's "Bistro" line of fabric.

Karen from The Sewing Basket, Plymouth, WI made this cute tote. She used a drapery cord for the handle.

Marilynn from Sew N Sew, Waupaca, WI made the shopping bag using Kwik Sew 3612, view C. "This is the first Kwik Sew pattern I have ever done, and I was impressed because it really was quick and easy. I used fabric from my stash as well as some embroidery blocks that I had leftover from another project. I feel good about this project, because I found a use for things from my stash. This bag will be fun to use and it has alot of space inside it for all kinds of shopping (even plenty of room to carry fabric from trips to quilt shops, LOL). Thank you for offering this item in the challenge.
Kay from Piece By Piece in Appleton, WI made the casserole cover from pattern 3772. Nice contrast binding!

Marilyn from Sew N Sew in Waupaca, WI said: "I made Kwik Sew pattern #2829, view A. I loved how easy this pattern was, and I must say, this is a piece of clothing that I will actually wear because it turned out so nice. Very easy and interesting to make. Again, thank you TEAM QFL for offering this challenge and introducing me to Kwik Sew patterns." Thanks Marilyn! Great Jacket!
Carol from The Sewing Basket, Plymouth, WI made this FUN version of Kwik Sew 3773. She used her new embroidery machine from Sew N Sew in Appleton and used the cute SPORK embroidery by Urban Threads! She even embroidered a spoon and fork on the ties.

Great colors! Debbie S. from Cottons, Etc. in Wampsville, NY made this cute apron.

Barbara from Country Fabrics in Oneonta, NY made 2 bags one with pre-quilted fabric purchased at Country Fabrics. She helped teach a class for her team members using pre-quilted material and showed the totes at her guild meeting!

Tami from Thimbles in Lockport, IL used Kwik Sew 2829 view A with the Sanibel line of fabrics. Tami said: "I think that this jacket will be great to wear with jeans or dressed up with slacks. I was happy to have a pattern fit without alterations. It was a evening project which is fun to do!"

I really liked the pattern because it was very easy to put together. I think it took me less than 4 hours including cutting out the pattern. What a great wardrobe helper!"

Traci from O'Susannah's in Watkins Glen, NY made this fun tote. She said: "My tote is from 3612 view B. The pattern was easy and kwik! The fabrics have ice cream treats and tropical drinks - the perfect summer treats!

Kathy from The Sewing Basket, Plymouth, WI made her version of 2829 using Jinny Beyer fabric for the exterior and Quilter's Tweed from Robert Kaufman for the reverse.
Kathy and her friends took a QFL class to make this jacket. See her friends: They didn't send in their pictures . . . so they don't have a chance to win! But they got some QFL points and sure have some great jackets!

Sharon from Cottons, Etc. in Wampsville, NY picked a silk noil and an all over bold print for her version of 2829. She was amazed at how fast it went together and how well it fit.

Sally, also from Cottons, Etc., Wampsville, NY made Kwik Sew 2829 from a fabric line called "The Sisterhood of Quilters" from Jody Houghton. Barb also made the lovely apron pictured below. She made it for her grand daughter who is in college and likes purple. Purple is also one of her team colors at The Yardstick.
